Stone Age Dance in P.E.

We are having so much fun learning about the Stone Age which has been fascinating to explore. During last week's Thursday dance lesson we started to think about Stone Age dance. Here are some photographs. Over the coming weeks, we shall be refining our dance and start to think about the movements that were made. We will think of height and how we can make our bodies travel.

The Egg Team Challenge

In Ash Class, one of our favourite challenges from the first week was an egg team challenge. The children had to think of ways they could protect an egg from cracking when dropped from a height.

In groups the children discussed their ideas and then we put them to the test.

The winning team decided to wrap their egg in bubblewrap before cushioning it in packing materials and coco pops! There were some brilliant ideas and fantastic teamwork. Well done Ash Class!

The answer is, with team work, you can!
