Monday Grammar Meeting

Other sessions to  will include more grammar, tips for Maths and lots more.  We will also be looking into doing some of our sessions on different days so it is possible for people with commitments on Mondays to come. 

 A big thank you for all those who came after school today. 
Next Monday we will look at what we are doing in ICT focusing on some of the activities we can do using  'Purple Mash' both at school and at home .

For example:

-Extending sentences with more than one clause by using a wider range of conjunctions

-Using conjunctions, adverbs and prepositions to express time and cause

-Using fronted adverbials

Roman soldiers in art

A Roman soldier (a centurion, in fact) on the left and a citizen on the right. 

The aim was to show the difference in clothing - the children realised being in the Roman army meant you had to wear a lot more gear in order to stay safe.
